Welcome Center

Meeting the demand for skilled professionals is one of TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe GmbH’s most important tasks for the future and is an important pillar in our work. As a point of contact, the TechnologyRegion Karlsruhe Welcome Center helps to further develop the culture of welcome in our region and the recruitment of international professionals. Our declared aim is to bring businesses in the TechnologyRegion and international professionals together. We also help businesses and research institutions attract and retain skilled professionals and are on hand to answer any questions the international professionals may have about moving to and integrating in our region.

We cover every aspect from A to Z, ranging from accommodation and attracting staff to settling in and feeling at home. The TechnologyRegion (TRK) Welcome Center takes a guiding role and works closely with many local, regional and international players.

Who is the TRK Welcome Center for?

Businesses – especially SMEs and scientific and research institutions looking for international professionals and/or trainees.

International professionals in all categories and sectors and their families:

• who are interested in the TRK and currently live abroad
• who have only recently arrived from abroad to start a job here
• who have been living in the region for some time now and are looking to change jobs.

Local, regional and international cooperation partners of the Welcome Center
The Welcome Center has an important guiding role and therefore works closely with many local and regional players (advisory services, service centres, authorities, associations).

We draw up your own personal roadmap jointly with you – so that you’ll quickly feel at home in our region!
